Terms of Service for Tour Bookings

  1. Purpose and Scope

    1. These Terms of Service for Tour Bookings form an integral part of our Terms and Conditions and, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the legal basis of the contract concluded between us and any Customer that purchases a tour on our website www.passionecampagnainglese.com or other approved selling channels listed in Section 3.1.2.

    2. For all matters not expressly governed by these Terms of Service for Tours Bookings, Customers are invited to consult our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, both available in the Legal section of this website.

  2. Guided Tours

    1. Our tours consist exclusively of a guided visit to the location(s) specified in the tour description published on our website or on the online booking platforms we have selected and are listed in Section 3.1.2. The tour is conducted by a guide appointed by us for the duration indicated in the relevant tour page.

    2. Unless otherwise stated on the tour page, our tours do not include any additional services beyond those described above. By way of example only, and without limitation, the following are not included:

      1. Food or beverages.

      2. Technical clothing, boots, umbrellas, or rainwear.

      3. Transfers to or from public transport stations (e.g., train stations or airports).

      4. Private transfers to or from participants’ accommodation.

      5. Reservations on behalf of participants for parking, tourist sites, pubs, restaurants, cafés, or accommodation.

      6. Admission to tourist or cultural attractions different from those listed on the tour page.

    3. Unless otherwise specified, tours are offered in either Italian or English, but never simultaneously in both languages.

    4. The primary guide for our tours is Laura Mattei; however, we reserve the right to appoint a different guide at any time, including without prior notice. We remain responsible for ensuring that any guide we appoint possesses adequate knowledge of the locations and relevant information to guarantee the highest possible quality of the tour.

  3. Bookings

    1. Tours may be booked exclusively:

      1. Through our website www.passionecampagnainglese.com

      2. Through one of the following online tourist experience booking platforms selected by us:

        1. GetYourGuide

        2. Viator

        3. Tripadvisor

      3. By individuals aged 18 or over at the time of booking.

    2. A booking is not valid or binding for us if it is:

      1. Made outside our website or the approved selling platforms listed above.

      2. Made on any platform not listed in Section 3.1.

      3. Made by a person under 18 years of age.

    3. For bookings made through our website:

      1. A booking is formally confirmed only once the Customer has successfully completed the advance electronic payment procedure, and the full tour participation fee for all members of the group has cleared in our UK bank account. Until full payment is received by us, the booking is not confirmed for any participant.

      2. Upon completion of payment, an automatic confirmation email will be sent to the address provided by the Customer. This email, together with confirmation of receipt of funds, constitutes the booking receipt and must be shown to our guide in printed or electronic form before the tour begins.

      3. The legally binding contract between us and the Customer is only concluded when the full tour participation fee for all group members clears in our UK bank account.

      4. Customers are responsible for providing correct personal data and participant numbers when they book one of our tours. We accept no liability for errors made by the Client during the booking process.

      5. The Customer must retain the booking confirmation email and present it to the guide. Copies of the booking confirmation email or corrections of the information provided at the point of booking may be requested by the Customer who has completed the booking within 24 hours before the tour start time; after this deadline, we cannot guarantee assistance.

      6. We accept no responsibility for non‑receipt of the confirmation email due to factors outside our control, by way of example only, and without limitation, incorrect email address, spam filters, failure to request a copy of the booking confirmation email within 24 hours etc.

      7. Failure to present the booking confirmation email results in the entire group being unable to participate. We strongly advise Customers to store safely electronically, print or to request a copy of the booking confirmation email within 24 hours before the tour start time to avoid disappointment or misunderstanding on the day of the tour.

      8. Our guides are not authorised to admit participants without a valid receipt or without confirmed payment received by us in our UK bank account within two hours before the start of the tour.

      9. Unless otherwise specified, each tour has a maximum capacity of 15 participants. We may refuse bookings exceeding this limit.

      10. All final details regarding meeting point and tour arrangements will be included in the confirmation email.

    4. Bookings via Third‑Party Platforms. For bookings made through the external platforms listed in section 3.1.2, the applicable booking terms are those published on the respective platform. Customers must review those terms carefully before booking one of our tours on those platforms.

  4. Personal Data Processing

    1. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how personal data collected during the booking process is processed.

  5. Prices

    1. Prices for each participant category are indicated in the tour description on our website or on the selected booking platforms and include all applicable local or national taxes.

    2. All prices listed on our website on the Third-Party booking platforms listed in clause 3.1.2. are fixed and non‑negotiable.

    3. We reserve the right to apply different prices for the same tour and participant category across different selling platforms to reflect differing admin fees.

  6. Payments

    1. For bookings made through our website:

      1. Payment must be made exclusively in Pound Sterling via the electronic payment systems available on our website or via payment links sent by us directly to the Customer.

      2. It is our responsibility to use only payment systems that comply with applicable financial transaction security regulations and guarantee the security of the transaction.

      3. We do not accept cash payments under any circumstances. Our tour guides are not authorised to accept cash for any reasons.

      4. Full payment must be credited to our UK bank account no later than two hours before the tour start time. We accept no liability for delays caused by banking institutions or electronic payment systems.

      5. Exceptionally, we may accept last‑minute additional participants on the day of the tour, but only if the booking is made through our website, and full payment of the relevant fees is credited before participation. In this situation too, we accept no liability for delays caused by banking institutions or electronic payment systems.

      6. This possibility remains subject to the maximum capacity of 15 participants.

    2. For bookings made through Third‑Party platforms, the payment terms of the respective platform apply. Customers must review those terms carefully before booking one of our tours on those platforms.

  7. Cancellations

    1. For bookings made through our website:

      1. Bookings completed and paid through our website are always non‑refundable, except when the statutory Right of Withdrawal applies (see section 8), or when the tour is cancelled by us for reasons not related to force majeure (see section 7.1.6).

      2. We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time if we discover that the booking was made by a person under 18 years of age. We do not accept any liability for any direct or indirect financial loss caused by our decision to cancel a booking made by a person under 18 years of age.

      3. If, for whatever reason, the Customer can no longer attend a booked and paid tour after the expiry of the statutory Withdrawal Period, they should contact us without delay to request an alternative date. Availability of an alternative date is not guaranteed and always subject to tour schedule and maximum capacity limits.

      4. All communications about the request to move the date of a booked tour must be made via email by the Customer who made the original booking on behalf of the entire group and directed to ciao@passionecampagnainglese.com We cannot offer different alternative dates to members of a group originally included in the same booking.

      5. We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time.

      6. In the event of cancellation by us of a regularly booked tour (other than for force majeure), we will promptly contact all Customers who have booked and paid for it at the email provided at the point of booking. Customers will be offered a choice between:

        1. full refund of the price paid, or

        2. rescheduling to another date, subject to availability and capacity limits.

      7. Refunds do not apply where cancellation is due to force majeure occurring on the day of the tour (see section 10.2).

      8. In case of cancellation of one of our tours by us, our liability is strictly limited to refunding the full tour price. We accept no liability for any additional direct or indirect costs or losses suffered by the Customer and any member of their group, including (without limitation) non‑refundable travel tickets or fees, accommodation costs, restaurant bookings etc.

    2. For bookings made through Third‑Party platforms listed in Section 3.1.2., their cancellation terms apply. We invite Customers to check these terms carefully before booking one of our tours through these platforms.

  8.  Right of Withdrawal

    1. Unless an exception applies, Customers may withdraw from the contract within the statutory period (normally 14 days) without providing any reason. Further details are available in our Terms and Conditions published in the Legal section of our website.

    2. To exercise this right, Customers must send an unequivocal written statement of withdrawal by email to ciao@passionecampagnainglese.com, specifying the purchased good or service they want to withdrawal from. The declaration must be sent before the statutory withdrawal period (14 days) expires.

  9.  Tour Participation

    1. Tours begin promptly at the meeting point and start time indicated on the tour page and confirmation email.

    2. It is the sole responsibility of the Customer and their group to arrive on time.

    3. Tours will not be delayed for late participants.

    4. We accept no liability for any delay by the Customer, or by any other member of their group, in reaching the designated meeting point at the tour set start time where such delay is caused by factors beyond our control, including (but not limited to) traffic, roadworks, adverse weather conditions, delays to public or private transport, strikes, political demonstrations, or any other similar circumstances. Customers are advised to consult in advance relevant UK news sources to check for any situations that may affect their timely arrival at the meeting point and to plan their journey accordingly.

    5. Late arrivals at the tour set start time or meeting point are not entitled to any refund, neither full, nor partial.

    6. Late arrivals may join the tour if it is still in progress, but failure to arrive before the end of the tour results in loss of the full tour fee paid with no entitlement to request a refund.

    7. Minors attending the tour must be supervised at all times by a parent, legal guardian, or authorised adult. We may request proof of such authorisation and may refuse participation if it is not provided.

    8. Our guides will do their best to make the experience pleasant and interesting for all participants but need collaborations from the latter. Participants must behave respectfully towards the tour guide and other participants at all times.

    9. We reserve the right to remove any person whose behaviour is offensive, disruptive, or disrespectful at any point during the tour.

    10. Participants removed by our guide for offensive, disruptive or disrespectful behaviour are not entitled to any refund, neither full, nor partial.

  10.  Liability and Force Majeure

    1. We will make every effort to ensure that tours take place as scheduled, but we may cancel a tour at any time—including immediately before or during the tour—if force majeure or circumstances beyond our control arise that, in our judgement, endanger the safety of the guide or participants e.g., but not limited to, severe weather, floods, strikes, accidents, demonstrations etc.

    2. If force majeure occurs:

      1. No refund is due if the force majeure event arises on the day of the tour.

      2. A full refund will be issued if the force majeure event arises the day before the tour.

    3. Participants are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing and footwear and taking reasonable precautions. We accept no liability for health or safety issues not directly caused by negligent or wrongful conduct by our guide.

    4. We accept no liability for events outside our control, including injuries, theft, assaults, loss of personal items, or theft from participants’ vehicles.

    5. Items left in vehicles, at the meeting point, or along the tour route are left entirely at the owner’s risk.
