Three things I like to do in autumn in the English countryside

Piles of hay bales with dozens of pumpkins of various shapes and colours artistically displayed alongside a large wooden cart wheel in a field with dozens of pumpkins. In the background, a field with dozens of pumpkins still to be harvested.

Autumn is finally here. When I was a child and still lived in Italy, I didn't like autumn at all: I always felt melancholic when summer ended, because my seaside friends went back home, the beaches became sad and empty and, above all... school started again!

Now, especially since I've been living in Chawton, autumn is one of the seasons I like the most and look forward to every year.

This is my fifth autumn in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, and in my new video, posted on the Passione Campagna Inglese YouTube channel, I talk about the things I love to do at this magical time of year - simple yet engaging things that allow me get into the spirit of this fascinating season. If you want to find out what's on in the English countryside in autumn, then don't miss it.

The video is in Italian, but has properly edited English subtitles that can be activated on YouTube by selecting CC in Settings and choosing English from the dropdown.
