Christmas is definitely my favourite time of the year. When I lived in Italy, I always looked forward to this magical period, which was marked by a series of rituals and traditions that were repeated every year and clearly defined my idea of Christmas.

Since I moved to live in the UK, however, my way of celebrating Christmas has changed as I have gradually embraced many of the typical English Christmas traditions.

In England too, Christmas is the most important celebration of the year and is deeply rooted in the history, culture and identity of the English society.

In this video, I talk about some of the most typical English traditions that are now part of my new Christmas routine and how I celebrate Christmas in the English countryside.
